Notes From The Road - Off-Peak Times to Travel

I have a feeling there are a lot of travelers like me who get fed up with the hustle and the bustle of modern life. Our daily to-do lists demand so much from us, dragging us from one chore to the next, taking meetings that should have been a three second email, taking up precious time that should be spent doing… absolutely nothing. Let’s face it, it’s the real reason most of us travel in the first place - to get away from real life. So why then do we choose to travel when the destination we’re arriving at is at its most busy? It just doesn’t make sense, people! Believe it or not, there are times when Disneyland is half to even a quarter full. There are months in the year where New York does, in fact, sleep. And trust me, the Grand Canyon is just as “grand” without thousands of tourists clogging up the view. That’s why I like to inform people about off peak times of the year to travel. There’s no sense making like a sardine when you’re desperately seeking some peace, quiet, and a new experience. If you’ve ever got any questions about when it is best to travel where, hit me up. I’m here for you. Consider me your “travel guru”, always ready to dispense with some sage advice on how, what, and especially when to travel.
