Hey Salty Lady

Could I Ask You to Pray for This Family?

Hey Friends, I have asked my readers to be praying since late Friday with very little specifics other than an absolutely unexpected loss. This is who they have been praying for and who I am now asking you to pray for.
Our sweet friends were expecting their first child, and first grandchild in that family, Jackson, this very week. In fact, he was due yesterday. But Jackson came a tad early, on Friday morning. And he was welcomed into Heaven Saturday morning.
I have hesitated to share details as they are not mine to share and honestly, it is so fresh—no words are adequate here. What can be said but “Jesus,” anyway?
Just know there are layers here that make this unexpected loss so traumatic and unfair. I know many of you have experienced such loss and grief and know just how much prayer is needed, both now and forever.
The parents, Abbie and Braeden could not have hearts more for the Lord and others. They serve, lead, encourage, and equip young people so well and so fully. Sweet Jackson was long prayed for, long-awaited, and loved immeasurably.
Please pray for the Jackson and Jones families as they prepare for their sweet baby’s service on Friday.
Christ alone, friends. Christ alone makes this bearable. Christ alone turns graves into gardens. Our hope is in Him alone.
