Hi and welcome to the first week of May here at C’est si Bon. Have you found any ramps yet? I’m still waiting for them to come in at my grocery store, but I’ll be making the compound butter with them as soon as they do.

This week I’m bringing you a few of my favorite recipes for Cinco de Mayo, which happens to also fall on Taco Tuesday this year. Taco Tuesday is strictly observed in the McCullough household. I make a few different types, but everyone loves this pulled pork loin version, and being a California girl myself, I always have to have guacamole on my tacos and with chips.

I’m also including a spicy margarita recipe, which can be made without the serranos if you prefer them regular.

I hope you enjoy these recipes, and my review of Huso, the very special restaurant we recently dined at in Manhattan. Happy Cinco de Mayo and have a great week!
