Orchard Lake Saint Mary’s at Detroit Catholic Central Named Game of the Week

            It’s week 7 of the high school football season and our Catholic League Football Game of the Week sends us to Novi as the Detroit Catholic Central Shamrocks host the Orchard Lake Saint Mary’s Eaglets this Friday.

Orchard Lake (6-0) has had a resurgent start to the year coming off two straight post-season absences. Catholic Central (3-3) is looking to keep their Prep Bowl Championship and MHSAA playoff hopes alive with a victory.

            Orchard Lake has clinched a spot in the Prep Bowl Championship by winning their first two league games. Catholic Central qualifies for the second spot with a win but a loss would knock them out of contention thanks to their loss to De La Salle last week.
